Do you guys know any freeware to compare a PDF file with all the web text files out there and look for similarities, like those anti-plagiarism softwares?

Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is just to manually Google a few key phrases from the pdf and see what turns up.

However if you wish to do it properly, the database required for such an endeavour is massive and there are only a few companies out there who have enough indexed to make it worthwile.

http://turnitin.com/ - is probably the best, however it is designed for use by schools/universities rather than individuals and I think it may be too expensive for what you require.

Well, doesn't have to be anything sophisticated, because I don't want to look for plagiarism, just find texts with similarities. I wanted a program to do this search on Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. automatically, so I wouldn't need to keep copying and pasting lots of phrases. As it's a basic usage, I'd prefer freewares.

Thanks a lot.
