I'm sorry if I wasn't more clearer. I meant keyloggers. What is the best keylogger? Software? Hardware? On all the history options of both IE and Firefox, my kids put ZERO in this option. I don't want to change it, then they would be suspicious. That's why I wanted some suggestions on the best keylogger.Internet Explorer keeps track of your surfing history until you clear the history. But windows also keeps track of it in a file called Index.dat. You can use a utilitly called Index.dat Suite to view all the Index.dat files on your computer.
Why wouldn't you install it on your pc? Also, has anyone used ********? Is it pretty reliable? In other words, will they (either kids or anyone else) be able to detect its installed?Second :Keylogger (for myself I donnt really Recommand to install it on my PC)
I appreciate your reply, however, I don't want to get into specifics on why I'm doing this. I just wanted advice on if people have used this software or similar softwares and if they thought it is reliable.Hi,
I know you probably don't want to hear this, by why not (instead of spying on them) sit down with your children and explain to them that there is NO reason for anyone in this house to visit the sites you are wanting to monitor. Tell them, what is good for them is good for you, so you are putting a program on there to make sure that even you don't accidently visit someplace with a misplaced click. I believe that openess and honesty will gain the respect of your children much quicker than the "gotcha" premise.
