Been having some problems with my onboard realtek '97. Then I came here and it looks like this is not a very good car/whatever you call an onboard card. Anyways I figure I need a new card anyways so what is a good one to get? all I ever see is sound blaster, is that where it is at? thanks

Creative SoundBlaster audigy 2 series cards are good sound cards. Would be sufficient for most of the tasks you could ask for. Thats what i would buy if i was going to. There is a large variety of products here . Hope you can find something that you need. Once you install it go to your BIOS and disable the onboard sound card and then install the new drivers from creatives website.

regards and happy shopping :D
