I have a Packard Bell A727 and it has stoped working, its connected up properly and i changed the fuze in the plug. If i hold in the power button the amber light comes on (the amber light is suppose to mean its in power saving mode) but nothing else does and iff i release the power button the light goes off. I also checked the fuse on the PCB and that is also fine. I left it unpluged from both the PC and power supply for 1 hour and that did nothing.

Could it just be the button thats broken?
Has Packard Bell put a timer on its monitors to make them stop working after a cerent amount of time? (Good idea btw)
Is there someway to reset it?
Do I have to go and buy a new monitor :sigh: ?

it is usually more economical to replace than to repair, unless you have a friend in the business
