Hi,
I've found an empty slot or socket in the laptop as shown in the picture, and wondering if I may install small mini ssd drive into it.
I've goggled and found this video
So is it possible or not?
And which drive I may order?
The reason for this is that I would like to upgrade the performance of the netbook as possible, so I am increasing the RAM to 8 GB and add this PCIe SSD drive and of course there is the main SATA hard drive in the laptop already exist which is the original 320 GB.
Please advise.
Thanks

I was about to do so till I've realized this empty slots in the laptop so I would like to get the maximum performance as possible.
I hope if it is allowing this PCIe SSD and 8 GB Ram and I may consider changing the HDD to SSD as well.
Is it possible or not as I've searched a lot and google was not helpful this time.

How do I know so? Can I figure it out before I purchase it.
If it worked I am planning to use the PCIe mSATA SSD as the boot drive and will use the other existing SATA drive for regular storage, and each drive will be just one single partition.
I was checking amazon and found these options, if you may shre your thoughts about it, as I am thinking about order both of them:-
Or you think there are other better brands for RAM & mSATA?

Both are good brands . . did you check to see that the notebook will accept that much RAM?

you should be able to look in BIOS to see if there is the option to boot from the m-sata

This is my booting order and it does not shows any mSATA, but let me think and ask if it is not shown because it does not exist.
Also if it is not going to work what would be the reason that mSATA does exist in the 1st place?
But still that you have a valid point and clever notice to think about this booting issue.

I did watched too many youtube videos for the exact model and same bios version and it is reading full 8 GB ram and use it in case it is 64 bit OS.
