Our work computer has been acting up. It takes about 30-60 minutes to load the computer at the beginning of the day, then it runs almost normal just a little slow throughout the day.

computer specs -

pentium 4 2.2 ghz

40 gig hard drive

30 gigs used

256mb ram

I've ran hijackthis logs, and cleaned it up from all spyware and trojans. Adaware and spybot s&D has also been used

first you need to lift your ram up to 1g
check what's in your startup folder that you don't need on boot
check your hard drive is running in dma mode
your hard drive is reaching it's limits look at putting a 2nd one in or a larger one,if it gets to full you will lose access to it
do a disk cleanup
