Hi, the issue I'm having is with the boot time for my pc. The pc takes far longer than it used to boot up and load the user accounts. I believe what may have caused the problem was when I was cleaning the system of that software and may have mistakenly removed a folder from the Program Data, Program files, and registry called Pace-Anti Piracy. I found the uninstaller in Add/Remove Programs and it ran without issue to clean what ever was left over but the slow start up is still there. The software I was installing when this issue arose was CAMWorks for Solidworks. If I can get a little help to figure this out as I'm no closer on my own it would be much appreciated.

Go to Start/Run and type SFC /scannow and press enter. Put the XP CD in and it will replace any missing system files from the CD.
Click on the link in my signature for PC Running Slow? and try those things. When things are smooth, create a Restore Point

I've tried running SFC /Scannow a few times and it was able to clear the errors except the following:

I've gone an updated my system to reflect the changes I've made since I signed up on here.

I've tried the solutions in your signature but have the same result. One thing I've picked up on is that when I uninstall a program, any program the system will boot faster but subsequent boots cause it to return to the same slow boot pattern. My apologies for the late reply.

What is the make and model # of your computer? Go to the computer manufacturers support/download drivers site. Type in your make and model# and download the ATI Video driver for your computer, do not RUN it, just save it to your desktop. Then run Drive Sweeper and remove the ATI drivers. When complete, restart the computer. It should start with Standard VGA driver. Now install the ATI driver you saved to your Desktop.

I previously ran two chkdsk scans on boot up and the results were a success. the clean Boot I ran just now, with two reboots, gave the same slow boot issue. But my windows 7 user account loads a little faster. Thanks for the help btw, joeten.

Okay joeten, After testing each service I found that the program that causes the slow windows boot is SW distributed TS coordinator. I can't seem to find much information on it except that its run by Solid-works. For the time being I've stopped it through MSCONFIG and the system boots notably faster. Is there any other way for me to completely fix this issue?

@spunk.funk: I disabled it using the method you suggested, after checking msconfig it was removed from the service list as well.

@joeten: That was one of the results that came up on the google search but I also tried the knowledge base on the main site but returned nothing.
