I have a question for everyone..

I have a HD that slowed down horribly and failed the tests, if i clone the HD to new HD will that effect the performance of the new HD? or would it be fine? i cloned hd before but it was from healthy drive to another healthy drive..

thanks everyone..

btw i use acronis true image..

If the drive is failing, then there will be data on bad clusters that will not be accessible. Cloning a failing HDD to a new HDD will import the same problems for the OS. You may be able to clone to recover some personal files, but not the OS.
