Slim Ps2 suicide.

Ok my 4 days old slim ps2 just died. I was playing San Andreas for one hour and all of a sudden the game froze. I turned the console off and back on again and then the unbelievable happened.. my brand new ps died. Theres no picture anymore, no sound and the cds don't even start to spin. when i turn the console off an on like 10 times in a row sound starts working but not the way it should be, the logo sound just stops and fades away when its supposed to continue and have background sound. very weird... is there anything i can do ?
And what happened to my ps 2 ? Overheating ?

if it's 4 days old, i'd take it back.

sometimes components fail within the first week like that.

also, it sounds like the power supply inside it has died.

this is no surprise as sony is becoming less and less reliable every day :4-dontkno they also havent got a fan so there is little to prevent it from overheating
