Well one easy thing to check, is to see if you have at least two PCI-E slots. Yours only has one, so unfortunately you cannot go SLi.
If you're planning on buying a new motherboard with SLi function, try to make sure both PCI-E slots run at x16. If money is what you're looking at, you're going to have to cough up a bit more to make sure you get that. You can find plenty of dual PCI-E SLi ready boards that are inexpensive, but they tend to run in x8 / x8 when using SLi. That's not a terrible thing, if you're on a budget, but you definitely won't be getting all their worth from your dual cards.
Oh, and obviously don't pick up a board that advertises "Crossfire". :wink:
