SLi board worth it, or should I stick with non-SLi

Hi,

I am going to beg off the vote for now and say that it kind of depends upon what other components you have for this motherboard you want. Talk about your power supply, your use for the computer (gaming, general, etc.), the cpu you plan on using, the case, the memory size, speed, latency, etc...etc...etc.......there are just so many variables that other factors will have an impact upon what would be best for your situation. I have an A8N-sli deluxe by ASUS, and it is a wonderful board. I am presently only using one card in it, but felt that it would be ready should I decide and they really aren't that much more expensive. This board is a real nice unit and I am very pleased with it. Tell me more and then I would be happy to vote.

Hmmm, this is a hard one. I would just purchase the MSI board so that you have room to expand to SLI. I'd buy a 7800GTX, just one.... then if later on you decide to use a second 7800GTX then you can go ahead and add this one. Now it also depends how much you will need this? Do you do a lot of gaming? I checked out the specs and everything seems fine, the timing on the memory is pretty low which is good.
