I have a 2 computer network which I take down and up when I use the internet.
When initially booted the primary computer must set the route to the secondary computer as it is not set. If I use: route add -host 192.168.1.2 dev eth0
from the command line all is well and OK.
If I use that command in .bashrc so that the route is automatically added for me when booted I get an SIOCADDRT error message. But the route gets added.
If this is a timing error where can I add the command so there is no error and the route is added at boot time?
