When I plug this drive into my machine, I get a "USB Device not recogniozed errror". The drive used to work fine on this computer and still works fine on other computers. Running Windows XP. Do I need a driver for this device?

If it works fine on other computers then most likely its a driver issue on the machine its not working on

According to a quick google search I just did no driver is needed for XP it may be a defective USB port on the computer you may want to check the hardware properties on the computer to ensure the USB ports are ok or try another port if you have not already
