Silkroad wont start

I just downloaded silkroad after going though a LOAD of problems. When i launch silkroad and press the START button, the launch menu goes away. I then get a SRO_Client tab on the bottom and a rectangular box pops up with a silkroad picture as if its loading. The problem is, IT STAYS THAT WAY. Silkroad wont launch, it just stays on that box. Can anyone HELP ME!?
