For some reason, before when I had Windows Vista 32 bit, everything on my computer worked correctly.

Updating to 64 bit, my front-mic plugin seems to not work. I am currently plugging in a mic from Logitech, NON-usb, it's one of the headset mics that plugin to the actual pink slot. Vista seems to recognize it, but for some reason it won't record.

I've tried boosting the audio under it's properties, no luck. I've heard it probably has to do with SigmaTel Audio. To clarify a bit, it's a microphone/headset combination you wear on the head. It came with my logitech webcam. The headphone aspect works..just not the microphone.

I have an intel DG33TL motherboard, and I'm using the on board sound.

I've included pic with me yelling so you can see how my USB mic responds (which is like 10 feet away) and how this one responds.
