Hi, I've downloaded Oddboxx, a collaboration of 4 games by Oddworld Inhabitants, 3 games work perfectly, and one of the games gives me a SideBySide error upon starting it's Launcher.exe up. This occurs before patching, and still even after patching the game.

Here is Administration Tools Event Viewer's description of the error:

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\Oddworld Inhabitants\Oddworld The Oddboxx\oddworld strangers wrath\Launcher.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.MFC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x86.

· Please Download and install the following VC++ Redistributables in the following order: 2005; 2005 SP1; 2008; 2008 SP1, 2010

I didn't notice the other topic. Thanks for pointing it out. Since we have no evidence at the moment, and this problem can easily occur on legal programs, I think that I shall use innocent until proven guilty, and leave the post, and anyway, the post may help others and is easily available on the Internet.
