shuts down after a few seconds

hi, i've a asus p5n72-t, one of this days i bought a cooler, instaled and it was working fine.
but in the next day tryed to start the pc and, started but in less then 5 seconds turned of again. but when i take the cooler out, it starts and if i put another cooler it won't start...
can some one help me??

everytime you disturb the h/sink you have to clean off the paste and apply new
