I have a HD in a removable bay that I always take on and off.

Just to mess around, is there any way to show it like a "Removable Media" or "Others" in My Computer view?

Tnx.

Is an standard HD, with a plastic 5 1/4 bay to be able to remove it.
So Windows says that: is a "Hard Disk Drive Unit". So I want to change what it says about it (DiskPeripheral). Maybe move it to Removable Media, or Others... :)

I suppose that is possible to change some things in the registry, like when you add a folder to "Others" in My Computer view.

I meant does it show it as DRIVE F: or other letter. (Drive F:Hard Disk Drive Unit)

If you are asking if you can rename it can't you rt. click and RENAME?

No no no no, u don't understand me.
Is an _STANDARD_ hard disk drive. It shows as any letter I want, and yes, I can rename it, format with anything I want.
Is STANDARD. And that's the reason because WinXP shows it as an standard disk drive unit with all the others.

But I want to change that: just the way WinXP shows it.
