I want a laptop bad. I want a decent one that can play most games like COD4 and Crysis...but...I don`t know when Dell's new models will launch and I am afraid to buy one now and have a new one launched in like two weeks.

I really need the laptop for school in the fall and possibly this summer (not sure yet). Right now there is a great deal for one (M1530) What do you think I should do? Stick it out until August?

Have any idea when Nvidia is launching their next series of Notebook GPUS?

personally I will not look at new computers for several months after purchasing a new one. I get depressed because of newer/better models and price decreases.

One thing to consider, if you want one for both school and gaming, then you will need extra batteries. Generally speaking, gaming laptops are not for carrying around to classes because of monitor sizes and power usage.

Conveniently the monitor is only 15"

Also seems to be fairly small. I am guessing that I will have it plugged it most of the time.
