I cannot make a shortcut go to my desktop from my favorites list. I get an error message saying no association. Please help!

How are you trying to move the file? copy/paste? send to?

You could easily go to Start, Run, and type favorites to open the Favorites folder. Then just move the shortcut you want over to the desktop.

To do this first go to my computer and navigate to c:\documents and settings\username\favorites. Copy that folder and on the desktop right click and select "Paste as shortcut."
