Hi guys I'm trying to set up raid 0 on an A8N-E motherboard which I just purchased. This is the first time I'm trying to set raid up and its not going to well. Can anyone give me a how to list?

I have 4 hard drives 2 of them are identical 160 mb sata drives, the other 2 are IDE.

You might tell us what you've tried.

Clean off the two drives you want to put in the RAID array, using a disk manufacturer's utility to write zeros to them.

Enable the BIOS for the RAID controller.

Connect the two drives to the RAID controller.

Boot and when you get the prompt to enter the RAID configuration utility, do so.

Create the RAID array.

Reboot and install Windows.

When the prompt for 3rd party drivers comes up early in the installation. press F6 immediately as instructed.

Install the RAID drivers.

Continue the install.
