server not found

when I click on search more often than not I will receive a message from Firefox "server not found". Most times if I click on "try again" a few times I will get through, but it seems to be getting worse. Help, if possible, if not then a prayer suggestion

You might start by clearing your temp files. Too many temps can cause issues.

Everything you do is recorded in your temp folder. In IE go to tool/internet options and click on clear temporary files.

That's not where Firefox's temp files are. You want to clear the cache in Firefox to get rid of it's temp Internet files. Go to Tools>Clear Recent History. First set the Time Range to "Everything" and then click on the little down arrow next to "Details". Unselect everything except Cache and click OK.

Is your Internet connection fully established before you open Firefox and click on Search?
What is your default search engine set to?
