Hey guys,
i need some help. I need to send a file to someone. We both have high speed internet. i have put it into a .rar format. unfortunatly you are limited to sending attachments to 10mb. This file is 320mb. Seems like i could do it by ftp. I do not have a static address. How can i send this???. i know how on a intranetwork, but not over the internet. Any help would be appreciated.

A technological purist will recommend using a simple HTTP server, but this isn't simple if you're behind a LAN with multiple computers and a router.

My grandfather uses a program called Pando to send me large files. You can find it at http://www.pando.com/ .

If you want to go the pure way, you can use simpleserver, although you'll have to make sure port port 80 gets forwarded to your machine.
