Is there a script or program that can be sent with emails which causes the a senders address to be erased from the clients address book after shutdown and bootup?

I have Windows Mail. I have saved a many email addresses that have gone missing over the years and i just let it go without putting much thought into it. Recently I have gone back to use a couple of addresses that I had saved recently and found it was no longer in my address book.
I manually get it and send the new message and save the address again, I check the address book and it is there. Then the next time I look for it on a different day the address is not there.

Yesterday I manually* put one of those addresses into the book and it is still there today.
*Using the new contact feature in the address book.
