Just wondering, for a mild gaming pc do you really need a quad core or would the e7500 wolfdale core 2 duo be sufficient. just curious, will be playing flight sim, oblivion and possibly some other games.
Thanks~Baird

edit... i also do a lot of movie copying, just wondering if it makes a difference in performance.

A dual core is a better choice for gaming. The E7200 or E8500 are in the "best bang for the buck" range. I do my movie copying on a Dual Core 2.0 Celeron w/4GB of RAM and it does quite well.
