I purchased the AverMedia DVD EZMaker PCI card, to put videos onto my computer so I can burn them to DVD. The software that came with the card is very basic. I recorded and edited a few videos with this software, but when I tried to watch one, or capture one with Windows Movie Maker, all I got was the audio, and not the video. I know the wires are hooked up properly, because I can preview on the basic software, close the program, open Win Movie Player, and I do not get any video. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win XP Home with Service pack 2 installed. I have version 2.1 of Win Movie Maker. Thanks.

Thanks. I can now see the video both when recording and playing back. However, I now have no sound on playback. I hear the sound on recording, but not on playback. The wires are OK, since I can hear it when I use the basic software. Any thoughts? Thanks again for your assistance.
