I recently installed a trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. When I tried to use my IE 8 browser, I would get a pop-up security warning that said, “Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?” I already check the known fix for this pop up by going to IE Tools-> Internet Options-> Security, and in the Miscellaneous section changing the display mixed content to Enable. That value was already set to enable, and I was still having the problem.

Regretfully I had to uninstall the Kaspersky program, which cured the problem. I am not experiencing this problem with my Firefox which works fine.

I really wanted to purchase the Kaspersky program after the trial runs out, but now I don’t think I can use it because of this problem,

Can you help?

You have to set Kaspersky protection similarly to what you did in IE or use their defaults. If you're set on buying the program, talk to their tech dept. first before risking $$$. Personally, I would go with a free AV like Avast and in addition to the firewall at your router, a free firewall in the computer.
