Security Problem

My firewall, Zonealarm asked me to accept/deny some outside computer trying to access mine via port entry. I denied but I am still paraniod someone, portscanned me, found my modem cp, and brute forced their way through. Is there any way for me to find out if my computer is secure?

I believe Zonealarm asked you to accept/deny a program which requested for Internet Access, not an outside computer. Can you confirm this? :grin:

I dont remember what Zonealarm asked verbatim but I remember it said a remote something was trying to access my computer through port xxxxxxxxx, so I assumed it was some type of subterfuge.

But I did run the scan and everything came out clear. I have a question I forwarded my ports for Utorrent and I'm worried can someone find an exploit because I've opened my ports?
