I installed Windows XP over my Windows 98SE OS, and all appears to have gone fairly well. However, Windows can now not detect any data on my D drive (second hard drive).
I can see it My Computer, but trying to access it gives the message that the disk is not formatted. Disk management shows a 31.5 GB partition with 100% of the space free. It should be reporting an 80GB Western Digital drive that is nearly full (it has all my music on it).
My first advice has been to convert it to NTFS, as XP doesn't like FAT32 drives, but using the Convert command, I get the message that "Convert is not available for RAW drives."
Can anyone help me get my data back?
