In disk management is the drive showing as healthy/active?
Yes, it is listed as 'Healthy'. Both the C and D drive are healthy. The C drive says FAT32, and the D drive is blank (which I guess is why it says RAW when I tried to convert it).manic said:In disk management is the drive showing as healthy/active?
I didn't format either disk. I installed straight over 98 on the C drive.manic said:I recently had to do a format/xp reinstall on my machine. Similar to your
setup master slave drives. I formatted the c:drive, c: only,,but the xp
install formatted the d: drive as well. That tells me from now on unplug
the cable to the slave drive.,when formatting. Im not saying your data
is gone, Im sure there are recovery tools you can use. You may try to
install the drive on another computer, see if it picks it up. Good luck,,
