I was told that if I install a second hard drive to use for gaming only, my games will run smoother. I was told not to install windows on my secondary drive and to copy my games to it. Does this sound right? If it was such a good thing to do, then why don't more people do it? I don't want to risk screwing things up. All replies appreciated.
I've never heard of that. I'm not sure how it would increase performance. That has me wondering. I could understand if you were low on disk space it could help.
Games might load up little faster, but you aint gonna see the differences. Wait no that depands on how faster is the second hard drive. like the RPM's so say your first hard drive runs at 5,400 rpm's And your second one runs at 7,200 rpm's the second
hard drive would load up the game or levels a little faster.
