When I try to use a search engine (yahoo, msn, etc) the search will not work and the "page unavailable" is displayed. I am not able to connect to google.com either. I have run norton, avg, and microsoft malicious software and nothing has been found. All of the internet connections seem to be correct.

Any ideas? I don't want to reinstall everything.

i would recommend spybot

and try to install google toolbar or another explorer like mozilla firefox

You mention that you are using Norton and AVG. Having two antivirus/internet security applications running on your computer is going to cause conflicts and could be the root cause of this problem.

If you can let me know your machine specs (OS, RAM, HD, etc) along with which Norton product and version you are using, I can then help you further.
