Script Debugger?!?!?!

1332 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  crisis
Hi, does anyone know why whenever I go on certain sites I get a message saying "a script error has occurred, would you like to debug?"? This also happens in certain help pages on my computer. I have tried saying 'yes', but I don't really understand how to use the debugger, or why I'd want to! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can't debug someone else's web site. :) I'd just go into Tools/Internet Options/Advanced, and turn off script debugging. :D
Cheers, have now done that and have stopped getting errors while online.
However, I get similar errors while in the help for Visual Basic for Applications (comes with office). Before I disabled script debugging I got the message "A Script error has occured, do you wish to debug", and the link within help did not work. Now that I have disabled Script Debugging I get the message "An error has occurred in the script on this page". I still cannot successfully click on some links within help. Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this, as not being able to access these help sections is very frustrating!
