Hey everyone

I have just been give my friends laptop to fix. It took me a while to format it and get a clean version of Windows XP installed but it has now been completed.

The problem im having now is that the screen is really small. Im not sure what caused this to happen but im not sure how to change it. Does it have somthing to do with the resoultion? Because it asked me if i wanted to change this during the installation.

Or is it a matter of dragging the screen out to fill the screen propperly?

I havent got a clue how to do this because its not my computer bit it is a compaq presario 2100

Go to the display control panel and go to the settings tab. Sounds like you are set to a smaller screen size than the laptop likes. Try setting it to 1024X768. If this does not fit, try several other sizes. If it will not adjust, you do not have the correct display driver.
