Hello!

The bottom part of my screen is flickering in rainbow colors. It just happened to me twice now.. Once 2 days ago and it happened again an hour ago. I have no idea how this happened! What could be wrong with it tho?? I am scared its an issue with the video card

How old is the laptop?

Sounds like it's a bad connection to the motherboard or as you suggested a failing video card.

There is a video chip on the motherboard of the laptop. When the screen starts flickering, it usually means that this chip is failing.
If you can find a local Computer repair person that specializes in Reflowing a Video Adapter, it can be repaired.
