Whenever I try to do a screen capture with the Print Screen key when I'm in any game or other kind of software that runs in full screen mode, and then try to paste it into Paint with Ctrl+V, all I get is a solid black image. It works with anything else, like with any windowed program, but in full screen I get nothing, just black.

I read your post, became curious, and discovered that it happens to me too. After some searching I found that World of Warcraft has its own internal screenshots folder in the World of Warcraft/Screenshots/ directory. For other games, I've found that the chat program Xfire can take screenshots of the game itself, which I just tested on Battlefield 2142. Xfire is constantly updating itself for new games so I assume it will work for you. Hope this helps!

On a side note, I have no idea what to do for non-game full-screen programs. :4-dontkno

on the snipping tool click on new

in the dropdown box click on

full screen snip
OK, here's the problem with that: It will work if I'm NOT in a full-screen program. Even if I make a keyboard shortcut to the snipping tool, if I'm in a full screen program then the shortcut won't open the snipping tool, and I can't simply do a full screen snip because I have to alt tab out of the full screen program to my desktop and THEN click full screen snip, at which point all I get is a snip of my desktop.
