I need to get more than one drawing printed off at different scales. How do I go about reducing the scale of a drawing by say 1:4?

Down on the command bar type in sc and hit enter. The scale function should then appear in the command bar. It will ask you to select objects, select using crossing window. It will then ask the scale factor so to reduce a drawing by 4 enter a scale factor of .25 then hit enter.

Or go to plot it will ask you to select layout/window etc you can choose the scale factor there from the drop down box.

if you use paperspace to plot drawings you can set each viewport to a different scale by using 'scale' and then '1/1000xp' if you need to plot it at 1:1000

the advantage here is that you can have different size scales on the same page without having to scale the cad entities themselves.

it's also easier to change the viewport scale repeatedly and centre the view for plotting.
