SBS 2003 R2 DNS errors

Hi, I have had to rebuild a SBS 2003 R2 server. All went well and I had a PC connect to it fine in dev network. Did most of the updates. Still all good.

Moved the server to production network and ran some final updates and pc will get an ip address from server but cannot see any other computers on network or get an internet connection. ICW works fine and server has internet access.

I have checked DNS and DHCP settings against another server and they look the same.

Help Please, I don't want ot rebuild again if possible.

The other server(s) a 2008 server in a domain or just as a member?

Since you reinstalled SBS you have a new forest/domain. Your next step would be to join the pcs to the domain as well as any member servers.

if you named this new domain the same as before you will need the workstations/member servers to join a workgroup first before joining the domain.

BTW what is ICW? Did you mean ICS?
