Saving photo's from old pc.

I recently bought a new pc, very updated. My old one had win98, with a couple of usb ports. I bought a 1 gig flash drive to save some pic on it.
I got the drivers, but I can't load them because win98 wants the win98 disk to load them. problem is the pc was made by a friend and I don't have a win98 disk. Can't find one.... Anyone know how I can hook up the old pc to the new one and transfer the photo's ?? Or any other suggestion on how to get them off the old pc hard drive. :4-dontkno

How about removing the hard drive from the old system and slave it in the new one, then transfer the files.

Or

You could make/borrow/buy a cross cable and hook them up in a P2P network.
You could also put the old drive in a USB external case, and have a nice backup drive after the photos are transferred. :)

Data that you don't have at least two copies of is data you don't care about.
