Hello support see if you can help me out.
My X205 is about a year old, and i have a bit of an issue. Its been going on since forever and i use to think it was an overheating issue and it still might be, but i think its something more. A few months back i put Windows 7 on the machine, and it worked fine. I still got overheating bluescreen crashes but it wasn't often. It then started to do it more frequently and i tried to do a factory reset because it was getting bad. The reset went horribly wrong, the computer crashed many times before getting a factory reset completed, it took me several tries and i finally got it to start again. After the factory reset it still crashes, and usually all the time. What happens now usually is either it will start up fine or it won't at all and i have to try again. If it does start up, it will run perfectly until i run something big usually a game or some other application and it will freeze up, my hard drive(s) will dissapear and it will inevidatebly give me a blue screen and crash. Sometimes it gets so bad where i can't even run a simple application like aim or an internet browser. I'm running out of patience and time, i need to get it back and running before i go back to college.
A little bit about myself... I'm an 19 year old male, going to college for computer programming, i sometimes mess with my computer but i never have done anything really serious to it, and this is new to me. Im pretty computer savy and i can get new parts if need be. I've used all my resources and i am just simply lost on this. Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.
