on mine i did not have to load a sata driver windows already had them,but i had to load the raid driver called ITE and configure the bios for the drives to run as ide not raid

you should not need to install any drivers
check in the bios that the operating system controls plugnplay is enabled
on most systems it is disabled by default
with it enabled the bios controlls it until the operating system loads and takes over
if it is disabled the plugnplay is probably being blocked

in the ami bios go to advanced by clicking on the tab at the top
click on the plug and play operating sytem entry and in the box that pops up click on enabled and press enter
then save and exit the bios
