My laptop was hooked up wirelessly at my home just fine, when I brought it down to school and tried to hook it up in my apartment my name on the computer wont allow me to access any websites, just saying an SAS proxy will not let me view. The odd thing is that I can switch names on the computer and then everything will be fine. but I must go to my original name first in order for the computer to pick up the router signal. Is there anything I can do to just turn on the computer and sign on my name first and let me use my laptop as I did at home? (My roommates computer is also hooked up wirelessly and works completely fine) Thanks for your help

You need to check in Internet Options, it sounds like you have a proxy configured for your user account. The other possibility could be that the other account has "automatically detect settings", and it's configuring itself properly. Check the two accounts Internet Settings under Connections and make them match.
