When I boot my computer it runs for a couple of minutes and then powers down. Winxp

Possibly overheating. Please supply more information to help me assist you further.
Makes/models/power ratings. If you can get into your BIOS (usually del or F1 key at start up) and find your Harware monitoring page (or something of similar wording), take note of the temps and voltages displayed.
