Sandisk Mini 1Gb Flash Drive

I am hoping that someone can help me with this. I was coping files off my Flash Drive and somehow ended up with corrupt data on the Flash Drive. I have tried deleting the corrupt data (didn't work). I have tried reformatting the drive (Windows unable to complete). I went to Admin Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management and ran a scan (Windows Unable to complete), I looked to delete the partition but it is not an option that is highlighted for me. On the Disk Management, it shows Healthy, but is t not. I can't copy new files onto the drive ( I/O Device Error). I am out of ideas. I have an email into Sandisk, but won't hold my breath for that option. Any Ideas will be greatly appreciated. I am running Windows XP on a Toshiba laptop.

Thanks in advance.

Well, it sounds like it may have actually died. I'd start by taking it to another system and trying it there, just to isolate it to the drive.
I actually did that. All the researh Ihave done so far indicates that It must have been busy when I pulled it out, causining corrupt data. I was transfering data from one computer to another. It worked one moment, then it didn't.
