When you are in an area with 5G your phone will automatically connect to that network, if your premium plan includes 5G.
As stated, if having problems connecting to 5G network take your phone to the nearest ATT store and have them help you for free.
As for Dial Codes, here they are Android hidden codes: All the custom dialer codes and what they do!

 Take it to AT&T and they'll take care of it for you. Works for me and my wife.

Had the same problem with T-Mobile. Their coverage did not even reach our lake-front cottage up in Northern Michigan. Once you head north out of Lincoln, MI the signal starts fading about a mile north of Lincoln and out cottage is 15 miles further north. It's the Michigan woods. They said they would need to put up another cell tower, the cost of which cannot be justified with so few customers.

Verizon doesn't work either.

Ended up with AT&T because on mostly sunny days we can get a signal out in the yard and on the lake better than half the time. As far as speed though, maybe 10 to 12 Mbps on a good day.

If your indoor coverage is not so good, then turn on wifi calling on your phone. It is in the settings. It will use your home wifi network for calls.

Oh okay bet np good idea 💡 how about for the uploading? I need to find somewhere they have really fast uploading
cannot answer your upload speeds. It would be whatever your internet service provides. If it is fast on your computers, it should be fast on your phone.
