safari 4.1 trouble

Do you have any addons or pligins installed? Do you have it load a home page when you open it, or just a blank page? Have you deleted the preference file, or done a Safari reset?

I guess I'm pretty ignorant about this stuff. I don't know what addons or pligins are, much less whether they're installed. I do have Safari set to open to a home page with recent sites showing. Once again, I don't even know what you mean by 'delete the preference file, or 'do a Safari reset.'

If you can guide me, I'd be glad to try all that stuff. Thanks for responding.

Okay, if you have it opening with resent sites showing, that's why it's taking so long, as it's loading all those site every time you open Safari.
