Running Drive Selector Application??

1487 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  koala
I installed a program on a different computer and it ran just fine, but when I installed it on this computer (ASUS P4C800E Deluxe) it seemed to install and said it was successful, but when I went to use the program this is the message I got: "Could not run your drive information, please run the Drive Selector application." I don't understand what that means or where to go...the program is for copying DVD/videos. I tried installing it twice with the same results. The drives are recognized and run just fine for all other programs. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

My guess is that this has to do with the Zone selector.
When you buy a DVD drive, it's generally set to a specific Zone.
I think that the program that you've installed is trying to work on a different
zone from the one you DVD drive is set to.
Is your DVD drive on your other computer is multi-zone?
