Rundll32 Issues

Receive the following message when opening video or video thumbnails in RealPlayer 11

Windows host process Rundll32 has stopped working. Close Program

Worked Ok for a few hours before problem developed. Has anyone had a similiar problem and been able to correct.


Using Vista Ultimate, Intel Core 2 CPU 6600 and NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX

This is a common problem and seems to be related to thumbnails in folders. I found the solution to be very simple:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Select Folder Options
3. Under "Files and Folders" check "Always show icons, never thumbnails".

worked for me!
