"run as administrator" "browser not running with Administrative Privileges"

Seriously?
Really?
There is only one log on for this comptuer...mine.
Logic would dictate that I am the administrator...

Is there a way to run some sort of script at log on or is there some way to assign a log on so that I AM ALWAYS the administrator?
No one else uses this machine so, having to right click and "Run as administrator" seems just silly.

It's windows 7. The 64 bit instal.

hi grumpops,

goto control panel-user accounts and then change user account control settings, move slider down to disable it.
Re: "run as administrator" "browser not running with Administrative Privileges"

Before I do that...I want to ask this.

I've had experiences, such as loading Office 2010, that after the instal, the activation key wouldn't work...and I had to uninstall it and reinstall it by clicking the icon via right click run as administrator.

So, moving this slider down to '0' will eliminate that?
I guess I'm just confused on how that changes me from a sorta administrator to "THE" administrator...

I'm a nuts and bolts kind of guy and tend to obsess on the details...I like to know the "WHY" of things so...I apologize if the question was actually redundant...lol
Re: "run as administrator" "browser not running with Administrative Privileges"

it should stop the warring message that you want to change settings, just try it and if it doesn't do what you want you can change it back to were it was.

Thanks.
I'll give that a try.
Will let ya know if that doesn't fix it.
