I currently am using a D'link DIR-655 router which I have had for about 2 years. For the past 2 months it has been losing all connection to all devices attached to it until it is rebooted. After the reboot it works fine. It loses connection about 4 or 5 times a week. I figured the router was just wearing out so I bought a new D'link router. I copied all the settings from the old one and it worked however web pages loaded very slowly if at all. I made sure the settings were correct and the firmware updated but it did not fix the issue. I tried working with D'link support but they were no help. So I bought another D'link router and had the same issue. Web pages load very slowly and usually had to be refreshed before they would open. I was getting desperate because the router is for a small office of 8 users and the network issues were becoming a big problem. I then bought the same model of router that was working but dropping connection. I again have the same issue of slow web pages. I have checked all the settings numerous times and they are identical to my current router which opens pages quickly but loses connection 4 or 5 times a week. So my options are to use my current router which works great but loses connection 4 or 5 times a week and has to be rebooted or use a new router which opens web pages painfully slow if at all. Please help me figure out why the new routers are opening up pages so slow. Thanks
