Restoring monitor as primary display

Hi, I have a bit of a problem here. I was messing around trying to get my tv to work with my computer but no picture was showing up on it. I then accidentally changed the tv to the single primary display.
Now I am stuck with a computer that doesn't work with my monitor or tv. I can enter the BIOS using my monitor when it first starts up but then the monitor goes black before windows starts up.
Does anyone know how I can restore my monitor as the primary display given the fact that I cannot use my monitor except when the computer starts up?

Try entering safe mode first, then getting into your control panel.
OK I did that, but I am unable to find a way to set the monitor back as my default display. It doesn't let me open the Nvidia settings.
im not positive if im right, but enter your computer in safe mode, then right click on the desktop to open up properties, and go to settings. it should read display, and i think you can set your monitor as your primary display from here.
disconnect the tv and it should default back to the monitor
